Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5:30am & 7:30am

Kristin has been working at Columbia City Fitness Center since April and teaches the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Kettlebell classes at 5:30am and 7:30am. Outside of the fitness center, she likes to spend time with her family, including her 18 month old niece. Kristin shares with us: “We go on adventures together. I'm in school so I spend a lot of time in the library, but when I get free time I like to hike or camp, and spend time with friends. I'm a big reader as well”.

What Kristin enjoys most about CCFC is the environment. She was first a member of the gym before becoming a trainer, and likes that it feels like a community and that people get to know your name.

“I sometimes see gym members at the farmer's market or a local restaurant, and it makes the big city seem friendlier. I grew up in a small town, so I like living in a place where I feel like I know a lot of the people around me. I also love that CCFC has Kettlebells. It was the reason I started going to the gym in the first place (I trained with Kettlebells when I was living in Taiwan for several years) and I find it very rewarding to be able to share my love of Kettlebells with other people”.

Adrian Cowens specializes in weight loss and fitness through Kettlebell Circuit training. He first started teaching his classe as a substitute instructor for about six months and then moved onto becoming an instructor leading the Friday classes at 5:30pm and has been doing so for three months.

Adrian enjoys skiing and motorcycle riding in his spare time and is very happy with being part of the Columbia City Fitness Center Family.

"CCFC is a positive work centered environment where a person who is serious about hitting their personal fitness goals will have positive reinforcement and cheer leading from both staff and other members. I personally have lost 140lbs at CCFC!"
