My name is Mohamed, I am from Galkayo, Somali and came to the US when I was 5 years old. I have been living in Seattle for 14 years, so in a way, I consider Seattle my second home. I grew up in Mt. baker, walking distance to Columbia City and just graduated from Franklin High School this summer in 2014. Andrew ("Bull") and Flo, the owners of Columbia City Fitness Center have helped me tremendously throu this part of my life, and for that I am extremely grateful!
As the oldest child in my family, I help my mother pay the bills and take care of her and the house. I'm now a student at Seattle Central College, studying Biochemistry and will be transferring to the University Washington to further my education and pursue my passion to become a Medical Doctor. I have been working at Columbia City Fitness Center for 3 years now and loved every second in the gym. When I have free time I come to the gym to work out to stay healthy as I can be.
What I like the most about CCFC is the atmosphere in the gym. Being a customer service representative I've had the pleasure of meeting so many people from around the world and people with different stories. The members are really great people and its more of a family, you are not alone in here.
